The location was super convenient, just a 2-minute walk to the metro and within strolling distance of attractions. The room was spacious with a kitchenette that added comfort for late snacks.

Thank you very much for the wonderful stay for 2 nights. The hotel's staff is outstandingly accommodating and exceptionally nice. The breakfast is abundant at a reduced rate, has great food. It has marvellous position to the center to matter.

Convenient location near key attractions and dining options.
Our room had multiple issues, including faulty electrical outlets that posed a safety concern. The kitchen was completely non-functional, with no dishware or utensils provided. To top it off, our room was not very modern, and the internet connection was annoyingly slow throughout our stay.

Despite the fact that the hotel has a parking service, we were able to park the vehicle in the green area upon arrival. For 1'60 Euro we had the whole stay the car parked on the sidewalk in front of the hotel door (we arrived on a Saturday at 13:30 and from 15:00 and on Sundays it is free). Besides, the police have a police station just a few meters away and there is always a security service nearby. The receptionist very kindly told us that the street is "Zona residencial" so she gave us a permission slip (to avoid a complaint from the town hall) and gave us the keys to the room. When we went up to the room it smelled of tobacco, we went back down to the reception and they told us that in the hotel all the rooms are for non-smokers so it was not normal. They apologized to us several times and immediately reassigned us to another room in a very kind way making us feel excellently treated. Besides, the new room was even more spacious, with a king size bed, very comfortable mattress, all very clean and well cared for. On the other hand, the location for my taste could not be better. Plaza de Espana, 20 meters from the hotel, Lope de Vega Theatre, 3-4 minutes walk. The whole center of Madrid on foot without any problem . In short: "We loved it, we recommend it and we will come back. Thank you!"

I chose the Exe Hotel chain because I had stayed at this chain before and I liked it very much. THOUSAND THANKS! The treatment with the staff was FANTASTIC (Thanks Laura who helped us)
entrance to the hotel from the car was not completely clear and pass through, I had to call by phone to indicate that 2 shops is the entrance to the hotel, at the entrance to the room was a little upset, you have to make a little "zigzag" to reach a "kitchen" and then enter the room, it was like 2 worlds, room was normal hotel, that stretch of kitchen, had the glass ceramic (off) in sight, water heater was there in the middle. I went down to the reception to ask if all the rooms were the same (and they told me they were), I let my bad feeling in this sense, it seemed more like a hotel apartment than a room worthy of a hotel of the EXE chain.

Very central hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room is very spacious and very clean. The large double bed (1,80x2,00) and very comfortable, with different pillows and cushions.
Very small and a bit overwhelming reception. The parking lot located 100 meters away, it was raining and very uncomfortable. Returning the key to the car park meant taking the car out first and going around the block with it to return it. The bathroom was quite small, as well as the bathtub. The water flow was very low and it was uncomfortable to take a shower (room on the 3rd floor). There was a kichenette in the room but no utensils to use it. There was only one socket in the kichenette for charging the mobile phones. No cafeteria in the hotel to have a coffee or a sandwich, you have to go out to the street to another nearby hotel of the same chain.

The staff here were friendly and competent. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from major attractions.
The soundproofing is lacking. Night times can be loud from neighboring rooms and the street.

A lovely hotel, great location - 10 minutes by foot from Plaza Mayor and the old city - very nice and helpful front desk staff, large room, extremely clean and pleasant. Didn't have any view or balcony as we had a back room, but it was very quiet and pleasant. If you are looking for a place with a restaurant, bar etc, this is not the hotel for you since there is no sitting or eating space downstairs, but in the near area there are many restaurants, bars, cafes etc. Hightly recommended hotel in the heart of Madrid and very good value for the money.
